In general you just need to specify which folder you want to use for the tool, and enter the MySQL password - then click "Install". The available PowerTools may vary from server to server and from account to account. If you're missing a PowerTool, please contact EchoEchoPlus support. <b>Installing a Powertool:</b> 1: Login to the site owner panel. 2: Click "POWER TOOLS" in the left menu. 3: Click the icon, <img src="images/powertool.gif" border="0">, to the right of the powertool. (Do not click the powertool banner itself) 4: Fill in the requested information. 5: Click the "Install" button. After a few seconds the powertool will be installed, and you can proceed to install another one - or, more likely, visit the page with the tool that you just installed. --------------------- <b>Note: MySQL Password</b> Some PowerTools will ask for the mySQL password. If you haven't set a mySQL password, you need to do that before you can install the PowerTool. ------------- 1: Click "MYSQL DATABASES" in the left menu. 2: Click "Change Password" at the top. 3: Enter new password (twice) 4: Click "Save" ------------- <b>Note: Tool Owner Password</b> Some PowerTools will ask for "tool administrator password". This is the password you will be using when you login as admin on the page with the PowerTool. For example, if you are installing a new forum, the tool administrator password, will be the password you wish to use to login as admin on the forum pages. This has nothing to do with your site owner password or mysql password. You can pick any password you like - preferable a different password than your site owner and mysql passwords.</content> <author>EchoEcho Support</author> <date>12.07.2009, 21:20</date> </article> </phpmyfaq> |
