The most common cause is wrong permissions for the file. When you upload a perl script you need to set the permissions to 755. Try right click on the file in your FTP program, and look for an option called "chmod". Chmod is the technique to change file permissions and executable scripts must be chmod 755 to run. If you're installing a 3rd party script that says that a certain executable file MUST be chmod 777 you should still set it to 755, cause chmodding executable files to 777 is a major security risk and the server just won't accept it.</content> <author>EchoEcho Support</author> <date>12.07.2009, 21:13</date> </article> </phpmyfaq> |
