|
You can password protect folders with the site owner panel.
First you need to login to the panel:
- Login to your account at EchoEchoPlus.Com.
- Click "Site Owner Panel" in the right menu.
Password protection happens in three steps.
First you need to define a group that should have access to the folder.
Second you need to add users to the group.
Third you can match the group with one or more folders on your site.
CREATING A GROUP:
1: Click "Configuration" under "WEBSERVER" in the left menu.
2: Click "Manage Groups" at the top.
3: Enter a group name and click "Save".
ADDING USERS:
Make sure you have defined at least one group before continuing.
1: Click "Configuration" under "WEBSERVER" in the left menu.
2: Click "Manage Users" at the top.
3: Enter user name and password (twice).
4: Select one or more groups for the user and click "Add/Edit".
PROTECTING A FOLDER:

1: Click "Configuration" under "WEBSERVER" in the left menu.
2: Click "Protect Directories" at the top.
3: Click the "Lock" icon next to the folder you want to protect.
